DJ FINESS has been in the entertainment industry for over half his living life. He was born in Georgetown, Guyana (South America); Migrated to Florida then to New York. He was brought up in a very musically challenged home where all his uncles were DJs and there passion for music motivated him to be more than a DJ. His journey all started very young playing for family events, school events, friends birthday parties, block parties etc to more large and upscale parties. His love for music in this ever changing industry of being a DJ, MC and entertainer evolved tremendously. DJ FINESS love for the entertainment industry took off early in the 2000’s when he was living in Florida. He had consistent private bookings, resident DJ gigs, weekly radio shows and multiple internet radio stations DJ programs. He also took part in many different West Indian/Caribbean shows and concerts with various international bands, groups and solo artists performing various genres of music from reggae, soca, chutney, etc He also created his own group and company called “Musiczone Djs” which basically stands for “One good thing about music when it hits you, you feel no pain” by the great Bob Marley.

DJ FINESS would eventually relocate to New York City where he brought all the love and experience gained over the years and cultivate them into ‘DJFINESSNYC’. His ultimate goal now is to make ensure every job is performed with 100% satisfaction and every client’s requests is met with optimism and creativity; Overall build more relationships within the industry. His company DJFINESSNYC/Musiczone Djs provides entertainment services for weddings, birthdays, sweet sixteen, bar mitzvah, corporate events, intelligent lighting, master of ceremony, equipment rentals, photo booths, monograms, program planning etc He is currently working on upcoming annual signatures events with various well know businesses and entertainment companies in the New York Tri-State area.

Finess’s main focus is to be very diverse; Not only as a DJ but also as a company that can provides most services needed for entertainment and every event.Today’s entertainment industry requires all different type of skills not only on the DJ aspect but also on photography, videography, florists, event planners, decorators, musicians etc He is currently working with prominent vendors in New York and various other states that handles most services required to make every event special and memorable. DJ FINESS relates to everyone within his reach, uniting dance floors with the sweet sound of music and his charismatic personality.
